New Orleans Luxury Hotel Hotel
Monteleone The Monteleone is one of the last great family-owned hotels in America, having been operated by four generations of Monteleones over the past century. When it was founded in 1886, Royal Street, on which it sits, was the most fashionable and elegant street in the city-- it still is today. The hotel’s famed grandfather clock still chimes in the lobby, surrounded by glittering chandeliers, polished marble floors and gleaming brass appointments. New Orleans Historic Hotel Hotel
Maison de Ville and The Audubon Cottages The main structure of the Maison de Ville, whose name in French means town house, was just that -- a two-story dwelling rebuilt circa 1800 after a fire destroyed most of the French Quarter. Across the tranquil courtyard, the four original slave quarters, constructed some 50 years earlier, have been renovated as luxurious guest rooms. The nearby cottages are named for John James Audubon, who in 1821 produced a portion of his Birds of America series while residing here. And the lush courtyard is where Tennessee Williams is said to have worked on a number of his plays. Click here to check availability for this luxury hotel New Orleans Historic Hotel Le
Pavillon Hotel Originally the site of one of the area’s first great plantation homes, Le Pavillon sits in the heart of historic New Orleans. Opened in 1907, it received instant international acclaim as one of America’s most notable new hotels. Now exquisitely restored, Le Pavillon-- “The Belle of New Orleans”-- features a breathtaking lobby with magnificent marble floors, fine statuary, and spectacular Czechoslovakian crystal chandeliers.
