Since 1963 our very first Mandarin Oriental hotel has been a legendary destination and meeting place for Hong Kong residents and for visitors the world over.
Having delighted our guests for over forty years we are now embarking upon an extensive renovation programme.
Our plans will retain both the character and the venues that have engendered such fond loyalty amongst our guests, whilst bringing new levels of luxury throughout the entire property. Of course our renowned staff who make up so much of the hotel character, will return for the opening and continue to deliver our legendary service.
Whilst we are closed we are still delighted to serve our visitors to Hong Kong; our Chief Concierge has prepared recommendations to help you explore the city. We are also pleased to retain some of our valued services which are detailed under still in service.
We will up date this site from time to time with progress on the renovation. Meanwhile whilst our Grande Dame undergoes her transformation you may wish to revisit the hotel’s illustrious history in words or images.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the new Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong soon.
Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong Reopens 28 September 2006.
