- Fisherman’s Wharf - 5 Minutes/1.7 Miles or 2.7 Km
Lively waterfront and one of America’s most visited tourist destinations. Historically fishermen set sail for their daily catch but it has long since been reinvented; teeming with seafood restaurants, shops, and attractions.

- Alcatraz - 20 Minutes by boat/1.7 Miles or 2.7 Km
The Rock is home to the historic and infamous prison. Visitors can browse the remnants of the prison whilst finding out about former inmates of notoriety. A display includes artefacts by prisoners, escape materials and correctional tools. (Suitable for ages 8 and older)

- Ride the Cable Cars - Outside hotel
These famous open air cars pull you up and down the hills of San Francisco on an underground cable system. Starting from the hotel the ride will give you a good view of the city ending in either Fisherman’s Wharf or Nob Hill where there is a museum dedicated to the history and development of the system.

- Zoo - 30 Minutes/8 Miles or 13 Km
This zoo is designed with consideration to conservation and wildlife preservation. Imaginative exhibits allow visitors to get closer than ever to the wildlife particularly with the new 3 acre African Savanna walk-through. Children have plenty of special activities which include grooming the wildlife.

- Angel Island - 30 Minute taxi and ferry ride
From Angel Island you can look back at San Francisco and on a clear day have the wonderful sight of all five bridges. This small island on the Bay offers a day of outdoor activity, hiking, cycling or kayaking; alternatively just enjoy the beauty spot for a picnic.
